Meet Oklahoma’s Newest Disgraced Non Profit Leader…

The race to see who’s Oklahoma’s most despised disgraced nonprofit leader is really heating up!

I assumed that Jennifer Roberts – the former leader of OKCity Crisis Nursery – would be the runaway winner after she was accused of using money for impoverished babies to fund drug purchases and support her upper-middle-class Botox lip injection lifestyle. But according to this update from the OSBI, there’s a new contender!

Apparently, Andree Harper – the former executive director of Mary Abbott Children’s House in Norman, a nonprofit that helps kids of all ages deal with abuse, drugs and neglect – has been arrested on seven counts of embezzlement after allegedly siphoning more than $219,000 from the nonprofit to pay for plastic surgery, airfare, Airbnb stays and other personal expenses.

Man – and I don’t mean that as in she looks like a man, I just think it's a fun way to start a sentence – but that’s pretty fucking low. Seriously, she used money intended to help kids dealing with abuse to fund her lifestyle? If guilty, I hope she gets a lengthy prison sentence. You know, something that will teach her and others a lesson that this won’t be tolerated!
