Rejoice! Not only has the weather changed for the better, but Thunder season officially tips off tonight, giving us all a good excuse to spend a few hours in a bar hollering at a TV.
With that in mind, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite spots to watch the game with friends and have a few drinks and nosh. You won’t find the usual breasturants like Hooters, Twin Peaks or Buffalo Wild Wings on this list, as I am more at home in the smoke and stank of a dive bar. Hopefully, you’ll check out some of these smaller establishments and add a new spot to your regular rotation this season.
First on this list is The Deli, Campus Corner’s cause of many college kids’ forgotten drunk memories. This long-running student bar has aesthetically remained the same for years while everything else around it has gotten bougie. With wooden everything and their famous red Solo cups in almost every hand, it’s a great spot to watch the Thunder while making memories you probably won’t retain.
